USAID Administrator Rajiv Shah Calls for Partnerships for Rural Development in Yangon Visit

YANGON – Dr. Rajiv Shah, Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), yesterday called for broad-ranging partnerships to boost the country’s agricultural development. Shah made these remarks during a keynote address delivered at the Yangon headquarters of the Livelihoods and Food Security (LIFT) Multi-Donor Trust Fund – a fund to which USAID contributes.
