YANGON – Dr. Rajiv Shah, Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), yesterday called for broad-ranging partnerships to boost the country’s agricultural development. Shah made these remarks during a keynote address delivered at the Yangon headquarters of the Livelihoods and Food Security (LIFT) Multi-Donor Trust Fund – a fund to which USAID contributes. Shah outlined a vision for catalyzing inclusive agricultural growth and rural development through innovative partnerships between the government, students, the private sector, civil society, and international development partners, many of whose representatives were in attendance.  Read More
