Yangon — The U.S. Embassy and The Asia Foundation were proud to host a book donation ceremony on September 10, 2014 at the American Center in Yangon. This event marked the eleventh Asia Foundation shipment and totaled 16,311 books, in 402 different titles. The U.S. Embassy and The Asia Foundation have partnered to donate over 140,000 books to 233 universities and colleges, community libraries, NGOs, and monastic education centers since 2007. Read More
