Myanmar Thingyan Festival

On behalf of the Government of the United States of America, I send best wishes for the celebration of the Thingyan holiday on April 13, 2018.
As a tradition reflecting the shared heritage of many cultures across South and Southeast Asia, Thingyan provides an opportunity to reflect on the vibrancy and strength that social, ethnic, and religious diversity lend to our societies.
The United States stands with the diverse people of Myanmar who seek a peaceful and prosperous future based on aspirations for justice, tolerance, democracy, dialogue, and mutual understanding. We extend our warmest regards and best wishes to all Myanmar people for a wonderful New Year.

၂၀၁၈ ခု၊ ဧၿပီလ ၁၃ ရက္တြင္ စတင္က်ေရာက္မည့္ ျမန္မာသႀကၤန္အားလပ္ရက္အတြက္ အေမရိကန္ျပည္ေထာင္စုအစုိးရ ကုိယ္စား မိမိ ဆုေတာင္းေမတၱာပုိ႔သအပ္ပါသည္။
ေတာင္ႏွင့္ အေရွ႕ေတာင္အာရွ တစ္လႊား မွ်ေဝပုိင္ဆုိင္ထားေသာ အေမြအႏွစ္ကုိ ထင္ဟပ္ျပသေနသည့္ ရုိးရာထုံးတမ္းအစဥ္အလာ တစ္ရပ္အေနျဖင့္ မိမိတုိ႔၏လူ႔ေဘာင္အဖြဲ႔အစည္းမ်ားကုိေပးအပ္ထားေသာ လူမႈ၊ တုိင္းရင္းသားႏွင့္ ဘာသာတရားတုိ႔ မတူကြဲျပားမႈ ေပါင္းစုံေနျခင္း၏ သက္ဝင္လႈပ္ရွားမႈႏွင့္စြမ္းအားတုိ႔အေပၚ ထင္ဟပ္ျပသႏုိင္ရန္အခြင့္အေရးတစ္ရပ္ကုိ အတာသႀကၤန္ပြဲေတာ္က အပ္ႏွင္းထားပါသည္။
တရားမွ်တမႈ၊ သည္းခံမႈ၊ ဒီမုိကေရစီ၊ ေတြ႔ဆုံေဆြးေႏြးမႈႏွင့္ အျပန္အလွန္နားလည္မႈတုိ႔အတြက္ ျပင္းျပေသာရည္မွန္းခ်က္ ဆႏၵမ်ားအေပၚ အေျချပဳလ်က္ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္း၍ သာယာဝေျပာေသာ အနာဂတ္ကုိ ရွာေဖြေနသည့္ မတူကြဲျပားမႈတုိ႔ ေပါင္းစုံလွေသာ ျမန္မာျပည္သူမ်ားႏွင့္အတူ အေမရိကန္ျပည္ေထာင္စုက ရပ္တည္လ်က္ရွိပါသည္။ ျမန္မာျပည္သူအားလုံးအတြက္ ေပ်ာ္ရႊင္ခ်မ္းေျမ့ေသာ မဂၤလာႏွစ္သစ္ျဖစ္ပါေစေၾကာင္း မိမိတုိ႔၏အေႏြးေထြးဆုံးေသာ ဆုေတာင္းေမတၱာကုိ ပုိ႔သအပ္ပါသည္။
