Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation 2019

U.S. Embassy Rangoon and the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State are pleased to announce the 2019 call for proposals for the Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) Large and Small Grants Program.

The Fund was established to help countries preserve cultural heritage and to demonstrate U.S. respect for other cultures.  The projects selected to receive funding under this program will advance U.S. foreign policy objectives and demonstrate American leadership in the preservation and protection of cultural heritage around the world.  The Fund is aimed at preserving cultural sites or objects that have a historical or cultural significance to the cultural heritage of Myanmar.  Grants this year will range from $10,000 to $800,000.

The deadline for submitting a proposal is Thursday, December 13, 2018.  Please read the proposal requirements carefully.  Proposals must be submitted in English.
