Effective June 15, 2020, the U.S. Embassy in Rangoon, Burma will resume routine processing of passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBAs), in addition to emergency citizenship and routine notary services. Passport and CRBA processing times will be longer than normal, so U.S. citizens with immediate travel plans should request an emergency passport at their appointment.
