Message for U.S. Citizens: Water Outage in Twelve Yangon Townships Tomorrow

THE EMBASSY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN RANGOON IS TRANSMITTING THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION THROUGH THE AMERICAN LIAISON NETWORK AS A PUBLIC SERVICE TO U.S. CITIZENS IN BURMA. PLEASE DISSEMINATE THIS MESSAGE TO ALL U.S. CITIZENS IN YOUR ORGANIZATION OR NEIGHBORHOOD.

 

Due to major maintenance work, water supply will be suspended in twelve Yangon townships tomorrow, May 21 from 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.  The affected townships are: Ahlone, Bahan, Botahtaung, Kamayut, Kyauktada, Kyimyindine, Lanmadaw, Latha, Mayangone, Pabedan, Sanchaung, and Yankin.

 

U.S. citizens in these townships should plan ahead, limit water usage, and fill water tanks today, as needed.
