THE EMBASSY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN RANGOON IS TRANSMITTING THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION THROUGH THE AMERICAN LIAISON NETWORK AS A PUBLIC SERVICE TO U.S. CITIZENS IN BURMA. PLEASE DISSEMINATE THIS MESSAGE TO ALL U.S. CITIZENS IN YOUR ORGANIZATION OR NEIGHBORHOOD.
U.S. Citizens in and around the Mandalay area are invited to join U.S. Ambassador to Myanmar Scot Marciel on March 11, 2019 at 3:45 P.M. at the Ayeyarwaddy International School, No. 25 (B), 52nd Street, Between 33rd and 34th Streets, Mandalay for a U.S. citizen town hall.
Ambassador Marciel will give remarks and participate in a short Q&A session. The Embassy Regional Security Office will also provide an overview of the security situation in Myanmar.
Please RSVP by email to ACSRangoon@state.gov before Friday, March 8th, 4:00 P.M. with the names of all attendees. Attendees must present a valid U.S. passport for entrance to this event.
