The English for Journalists and Media Professionals project provides journalists, editors and other media professionals an opportunity to improve professional English skills in a forum to discuss topics of professional interest.
The program will invite experienced media trainers and guest speakers to give short talks followed by a discussion in English of modern challenges in practicing journalism in Myanmar. We encourage individuals working in media who are keen to improve their English language skills and discuss media ethics and current issues in Myanmar to apply.
The program will accept 15 participants. The project includes 12 modules, including objective reporting, gender inclusion, digital security, and open-source reporting, over 24 sessions. Sessions are free (no cost) and will take place every Saturday. Project organizers welcome other topic suggestions.

Duration: 6 months (November 2018- May 2019)
Time: 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. (every Saturday)
