From January 9-10, 2014, a delegation from the Department of State’s Bureau of Energy Resources (ENR) and the Department of Commerce’s Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) traveled to Naypyitaw where CLDP hosted a two-day workshop on energy and natural resource-related financial modeling for 30 Myanmar government officials from the Central Bank, the Auditor General’s Office, and the Ministries of Energy, Finance, and Construction. The Ministry of Energy’s Director General for the Energy Planning Department U Pe Zin Tun provided opening remarks, and Deputy Director General U Win Maw discussed Myanmar’s experience in oil and natural gas pricing forecasting and modeling with guest lecturer Professor Donald Bellman.  Read More
