Auction Sale Information

GSO Office usually conducts disposal of property by sealed bid sales (2 to 3 times a year) in accordance with 14 FAM.

This Public Sales can be divided into two kinds: taxable and non-taxable. For taxable sales, the winning bidder is required to pay customs duty at host government office prior to collecting the items.

Prospective bidders must pay a refundable deposit of 100,000/- kyats prior to submitting a bid list. Bid amount must be in USD. Detailed bidding form & instructions are available at 1,000/- kyats per set. Each lot will be awarded to the highest bidder.
