Event: Nearly 100 seats remain available for tomorrow’s repatriation flight. If you have not confirmed your seat and you wish to join tomorrow’s flight please follow the below instructions.
Based on current demand, we expect this will be the only Embassy-organized repatriation flight back to the United States.
Those passengers who already came to the Embassy and confirmed your seat, please follow the check-in instructions that will be emailed to you tonight for clear instructions on tomorrow’s procedure.
U.S. Citizens: All U.S. citizens who have not yet confirmed their seat on tomorrow’s flight, and are interested in joining the repatriation flight should arrive at Yangon International Airport tomorrow at 8:30 A.M. If you are confirmed on the flight you will be allowed one carry-on bag and two 50lb checked bags, per person. We anticipate being able to accommodate all interested U.S. citizen passengers.
U.S. Legal Permanent Residents: All U.S. legal permanent residents (green card holders) who have not yet confirmed their seat on tomorrow’s flight, and are interested in joining the repatriation flight should arrive at Yangon International Airport tomorrow at 9:00 A.M. If seats remain available and we can confirm you on the flight you will be allowed one carry-on bag and two 50lb checked bags per person.
Foreign National Family Members of U.S. Citizens with a Valid U.S. Visa: If seats remain available before check-in closes, we will accommodate foreign national family member of U.S. citizens with a valid U.S. visa as passengers. If you have a valid U.S. visa and you want to join this flight, please arrive at the airport at 9:30 A.M. and identify yourself to U.S. Embassy staff. You must present proof of your relationship with a U.S. citizen at the airport. We will place you on standby until all other seats are filled. If seats remain available before check-in closes, we will offer you a seat. If you are confirmed on the flight you will be allowed one carry-on bag and two 50lb checked bags per person.

- · U.S. citizens who wish to join the repatriation flight and have not yet confirmed their seat should come to Yangon International Airport at 8:30 A.M. with their U.S. passport.
- · Legal Permanent residents who wish to join the repatriation flight and have not yet confirmed their seat should come to Yangon International Airport at 9:00 A.M. with their passport and lawful permanent resident card.
- · Foreign national family members of U.S. citizens with a valid U.S. visa who wish to join the repatriation flight and have not yet confirmed their seat should come to Yangon International Airport at 9:30 A.M. with their passport, visa, and proof of relationship with a U.S. citizen, and standby to see if a seat is available.
